Clinical Consultant

Dr. Levinson brings over   35 years of dental practice experience to Bellmore Family Dental. He spent his early years as Chief-of-Staff of two large dental offices in Manhattan, then went into family practice on eastern Long Island’s south shore in 1985. He is proud to be associated with a talented, dedicated, and concerned staff that embraces his patient-oriented philosophy. Dr. Levinson is married, with three sons. He oil paints and attempts to be a handyman around the house.




Dr. Oglesby received a bachelor of Science in Dentistry at SUNY Stony Brook in 1987 and a Doctorate in Dental Surgery at New York University College of Dentistry in 1992. He then completed a 2 year AEGD residency program at SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in 1994.For over 22 years, Dr. Oglesby has strived to provide excellence in dental care in a most caring and compassionate manner. Dr Oglesby provides comprehensive dental care with an emphasis on reconstruction and cosmetics. He is certified for Oral Sedation and Invisalign and is current with continuing education. Dr. Oglesby is married to Lisa for 26 years and is the proud father of four children.

Dr. Jesse Hofer


Dr. Jesse Hofer is a dentist/specialist who treats individuals with a ground up approach. Dr. Hofer believes that close attention should be paid to the periodontium(supporting structures of teeth) to avoid tooth-loss in adulthood. He has a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, and he received his education in periodontics from Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. For those teeth that cannot be saved, Dr. Hofer offers implant replacement options. Dr. Hofer places about 500 implants/year. Prior to dentistry, Dr. Hofer worked for a company that provided medical care and supplies to Medicare patients and a private practice in New Jersey. Dr. Hofer scored in the top 1% on the national in-service examination administered by the American Academy of Periodontics. He's a member of the American Academy of Periodontics, Academy of Osseointegration, Northeastern Society of Periodontists, and Hambletonian Study Club. Dr. Hofer takes time to listen carefully to individual concerns of patients and aims to tailor treatment according to individual conditions instead of trying to implement a "one size fits all" approach. Dr. Hofer is associated with the American Academy of Periodontics, the American Dental Association, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. During his free time, Dr. Hofer enjoys the outdoors, tennis, playing the guitar, and musical production. He is married and comes from a large family, five brothers and three sisters, who mostly live in the western states.



Dr. Efron received a bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at SUNY Stony Brook in 1990 .While an undergraduate at SUNY Stony Brook he also did four years of dental research at the dental school.In 1995 he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from The Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston.He did his Residency at Woodhull Hospital in New York City.He is an officer in New York Academy of Oral Rehabilitation.He is Invisalign certified, speaks Spanish fluently, and enjoys restoring Implants. When not performing dentistry he is spending time with his family or playing soccer.



Dr. Naleesa Lee attended the State University of New York at Binghamton where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in history.She received both her DDS degree and post-graduate specialty in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.Dr. Lee is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology and had the honor of serving as an Ambassador for the Academy’s foundation.She is also a member of the Academy of Osseointegration, American Dental Association and Nassau County Dental Society.Dr. Lee is committed to continuing her own education by attending numerous symposiums during the year so she can provide her patients with the newest and latest techniques and therapies. Dr. Lee is known by her patients for her gentle and kind nature. Her sense of humor and easygoing demeanor helps put many patients at ease.



Dr. Maniscalco attended Manhattan College where he received a Bachelor’s and an MS degree in Biology in 1996. He then attended New York University where he received his DDS degree in 2000. Upon graduation he received two prestigious awards; one for operative dentistry and the other for removable prosthodontics. Dr. Maniscalco went on to complete his prosthodontics residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Portland, Oregon in 2003.In this residency, he received a citation from the Military Order of the Purple Heart for exemplary care. To further expand his abilities, he completed in 2003 a two-year fellowship encompassing all aspects of surgical and prosthetic implant dentistry at New York University. He is certified in IV sedation. Dr. Maniscalco’s strongest attributes include clearly and precisely explaining all aspects of your care and then delivering this care in the most skilled and comfortable way.



Adela is a graduate at Hostos College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society, Dean’s List and the National Dental Hygienist Association 2012 Scholarship Award winner. She has over 10 years experience in the dental field and began her career as a dental assistant. She is very passionate about hygiene and her goal is to monitor, maintain, treat and prevent periodontal disease in her patients by giving them the skills and the knowledge not only to improve their oral hygiene but overall health and wellness. She is currently working on her second degree in Health Administration and in her free time she enjoys taking long road trips with her family.



Gina graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in 2008 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She has years of experience working at NYU as a Clinical Faculty member where she facilitated Dental Hygiene students in their learning critical Dental Hygiene skills. She also completed a year at NYU Bluestone Center for Clinical Research where she worked with a team on a research study designed to monitor gum disease and its link to genetics. Gina has a passion for the dental field and helping her patients reach their goal of optimal oral health. In her spare time Gina enjoys spending time with her family.



Angie has been a dental assistant for many years. She works with all our doctors & helps them provide the best care we can offer our patients. Her wonderful personality combined with her overall dental knowledge enables her to be compassionate and comforting while answering any of your dental questions or concerns. She is a tremendous asset to our practice.
